Team Leader Hospitality Services- Part-Time Contract Opportunity
About the role
You are a leader who takes pride in providing planned and coordinated provision of high quality catering services for a range of visiting guests, predominantly school groups within our camp. You are familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in a clean and safe state. You will assist with preparing meals, ordering, menu planning, and supervising hospitality staff. Occasionally support management.
Grantville Lodge is a Uniting Church Camping venue, and provides group accommodation for schools, church, sporting and community groups.
You have knowledge of legislation relevant to hospitality services and experience in operational achievement of accreditation standards. You demonstrate effective communication with a variety of stakeholders including guests, staff and external providers. Your highly developed prioritization, leadership, time management & problem solving skills are just some of your strengths. Your qualifications for the role consist of:
- Trade qualification Cook / Chef or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience working with special dietary requirements, allergies and anaphylaxis reactions.
- First Aid and CPR (desirable)
